The Arms and Armor



Weapons and Armor is what distincts you from other people. They will also be an essetial to any player in WoW. There are many differents types of armor, like for instance, cloth and plate. There is also sets of armor for every individual class.

The weapon is first defined by what class you play as. After you find out what weapons you can use, it is your choice of how and what you want to do with it. Certain weapons are for better classes with a certain talent tree.

Armor is the most important thing a player will have, the weapon comes second. Armor provides you with protection and bonuses to your stats. If you do not have a good set of armor, you will go nowhere in WoW.

Weapons

Weapons can be classified as axe, bow, gun, crossbow, thrown, wand, dagger, fist, mace, polearm, staff, and sword A sub-class of weapons is that it is either main-hand, off-hand, one-handed or two-handed. Sub-classes include main-hand, off-hand, one-handed or two-handed. Some weapons are ranged and some items are melee.

Axes can be used by warriors, hunters, paladins and shaman. Axes can be one-handed and two-handed. They also fall in all of the sub classes. Axes are basically big sharp rocks on a stick. Axes are not very common in WoW.

Bows can be used by warriors, hunters and rogues. Bows are commonly found on hunters as their main weapon. Warriors and rogues use bows to pull a specific target from the rest of a group. Bows can not be fired without arrows.

Guns can be used by warriors, hunters and rogues. They fall under the same characteristics as a bow. THe only difference is that they use bullets for ammo.

Crossbows are the same as bows and guns. They use bolts for ammo.

Throwing weapons are the same as bows, guns and crossbows. You need multiple of a type of thrown weapon to throw it multiple times. Axes, daggers and throwing stars.

Wands can be used by priest, mages and warlocks. Wands are the magic casters long range weapons.

Daggers can be used by anyone except paladins. Daggers are most commonly used by rogues. Daggers attack very fast.

Fist weapons can be used by rogues, hunters, warriors, and shaman. Fist weapons are somewhat like daggers. They are like a boxing glove with spikes.

Maces can be used by all classes except mages and warlocks. Maces are basically hammers. They can be 1-handed and 2-handed.

Polearms can be used by warriors, paladins, hunters and shaman. Polearms are big staffs with a pointy end on it.

Staffs can be used by everyone except paladins and rogues. Staffs are usually found on magic casters like mages, warlocks, priests, etc.

Swords can be used by everyone except druids and shaman. Swords are found mostly on warriors and paladins. Some rogues carry swords for additional DPS.


Armor

Armor cosists of cloth, leather, mail, and plate. Cloth is used primarily used by magic casters like mages, priest and warlocks. Leather wearers are rogues and druids. Mail is used by hunters and shaman. Plate is used by warriors and paladins. Other armor items include necklaces, rings, trinkets, shields, idols, librams and totums.

There is so many different classifications of armor sets. These sets include Dungeon 1/2 and 3 sets, Tier 1-6 sets, PvP gear, crafted sets and season gear sets. All these sets are class specific and tree specific. For instance, a warrior can choose from DPS or tanking Tier 3 gear. A paladin can choose from retribution or protection gear from their Teir 1 set. PvP, season, and dungeon 1/2 sets are not talent tree specific.

All classes can use the other armor types, like necklaces. Totums can only be used by shaman. Shield can only be used by shaman, warriors and paladins.
