Player's That Play WoW

I wanted to take the oportunity to let you meet some players that play WoW. All the people here are real people with real lives outside World of Warcraft. Some people do make lives out of the game though. Many "job guild" like "Archetype X" live to play the game. They are paid through Blizzard to balance the game. Some people also sell their "toons" on Ebay.com. Other well-known websites, like "WoWmine.com", sell World of Warcraft currency for a certain amount of real currency. Blizzard looks down upon players that buy WoW Currency from sites and Blizzard is even known for banning accounts that buy it.

This is my main character on WoW. At the momment I am a 77 Arms (DPS) Warrior. I am also sometimes a Tank. I stick with being a Arms Warrior because I like to do damage. I chose the professions blacksmithing and mining. I use them so I can make armor for myself. I enjoy being a Warrior, cause it is very easy to do. My character has long white hair and green eyes. My skin is kinda like a purple color.
I play WoW mainly for sport. I am not a "hardcore" player at all in any way. I play maybe 4 or 5 hours a week. I will play it after I do some homework and I got nothing else better to do. Recently, the new expansion "Wrath of the Lich King" came out. I have been playing a little bit more to try to level to 80. I also enjoy the social networking. Most of the time I am on Ventrilo talking to some of my WoW buddies. After awile you get to know the people. One of our guild mates lets her 4-year-old get on and she talks to us. It is so adorable. :-) We are at the point were we call eachother on first name basis, like people call me Derek. Other names people call me are just "Tu" because it is easier than Tuaero.

Hi, my name is Watlh, but most people just call me Waffle. I am a 75 protection Paladin. I also will sometime spec as a retribution paladin for dungeon runs. I like to be a prot pally because I like to be the center of attention, take lots of damage and protect the group. I use the sword and shield combo or a one-handed mace and shield combination.
I like the play WoW because I like the fictional world. It keeps me busy for awile. It is also a great way to get away from real life. I find it highly entertaining. The best part of WoW is the raids. I enjoy grouping with people and talknig with them and getting to know them in real life. I also find it amazing that people find their "soul mates" and GET MARRIED!!

My characters name is Elyri. Shes got pig tails and horns. She has hoofs for feet and her tail I like to cover. I am a 53 beast master hunter. My favorite pet is fluffy. Fluffy is a scorpion from Tanaris. I like the be a hunter because they seem to level quickly. I can handle more than 1 creature at a time because of my pet.
I like to play WoW because I enjoy the meeting people and gaining levels. I like getting achievment. I feel that leveling and making my character better is gratifying. I am very happy with the game. I think that it is unfair that the Alliance have better cities and they are easier to travel back and forth to. I also dont like the fact the stuff I work hard to get is sometimes replaced very fast. ... Vent should be free... Sorry I complain alot. lol

Demi is awesome. "DEMI SMASH"... she likes hitting things... 72 Enhancement Shaman. Enhancement Sham. kill things quicker... and I like to kill. I can proc "Maelstrom Weapon" which alows me to attack with more spells kill even faster.
I like to play WoW because its addictive. It fun to do. I get to be social. I dont like how Female toons are less than "full coverage". I like travel out in "Northrend". Its unique compared to Outlands and Azeroth. I also love to music. It is relaxing. I dont really like the generic itemization. Don't tell Chuck Norris jokes... they are not funny. And stay out of "trade chat"... unless you are trading.

Archus was involved with the fall of Londaeron and swore to fight fire with fire. I favor demon spec pretty heavily, as it not only has high damage, it is extreemely versatile, and can manage well in a variety of PvE, PvP and Solo environments. I am also a master Herbalist and Alchemist. Over 82 DAYS OF PLAY TIME!!! November 2005 is when I started Archus.
There is stuff to do at every level. In many ways, the game starts at top level because that's when you start doing heroics, raids, and other top level stuff. Blizzard has done an amazing job balancing the classes, yet keeping a distinct play feel for each class. Good job Blizzard.
